Hawks Vs. Spurs Halftime Score Update: Atlanta Trails, 48-44

Jeff Teague led the way with 13 points, but the Hawks find themselves down 48-44 at halftime of Wednesday night's road match-up with the Spurs.

Teague hit six of his eight shots, and Atlanta connected on nearly 48% of their first half shots as a team.

G Kirk Hinrich made his season debut for the Hawks, and hit both of his field goal attempts for five points in just four minutes of action. Hinrich adds depth and experience to a thin Hawks backcourt, and his role should steadily increase in the next few games.

The Spurs got 10 points from C Tiago Splitter, and veteran C Tim Duncan leads all players with nine rebounds. The Spurs are 9-1 at home on the season, and haven't lost to Atlanta in San Antonio in fifteen years.
