Hawks Vs. Pistons: Game Preview, TV Schedule And More

The Atlanta Hawks travel to Detroit Friday night to face the Pistons where they'll look to bounce back from a loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

The Atlanta Hawks travel up I-75 to Detroit on Friday night to play the Pistons. The Hawks come into the game with a 13-6 record and are coming off a loss to the San Antonio Spurs while the Pistons have a 4-15 game and are coming off a loss to the Miami Heat. Atlanta is currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference and in third place in the Southeast Division. Detroit is in 13th place in the conference and in last place in the Central Division.

The Hawks are led in scoring by guard Joe Johnson, who averages 18.5 points per game, and forward Josh Smith, who averages 16.2. The team averages 97.2 points per game, which ranks them seventh in the NBA in scoring, and they allow an average of 91.7 points per game, which ranks then eighth in team defense. The Pistons are led by center Greg Monroe, who averages 15.4 points per game, and guard Ben Gordon, who averages 14.3. Detroit averages 85.6 points per game as a team, which ranks them at No. 30 in the NBA in scoring, and they're ranked 18th overall in team defense as they allow an average of 95.2 points per game.
