Hawks Vs. Bulls: Atlanta Takes On Derrick Rose, Chicago In Playoff Rematch

One day after handing the Miami Heat its first loss of the season, the Atlanta Hawks will close out their three game road trip in Chicago against Derrick Rose and the Bulls.

Fresh off of a road victory over the Miami Heat, the Atlanta Hawks travel to Chicago to close out a three game road trip with a playoff rematch against the Chicago Bulls.

Derrick Rose and the Bulls knocked the Hawks out of last season's playoffs 4-2 in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Both teams will enter Tuesday's matchup with 4-1 records. Atlanta suffered its first loss on Saturday to the Houston Rockets but bounced back on Monday to hand the Miami Heat their first loss of the season.

Tracy McGrady and the new look Hawks bench was a big factor in the Hawks win with McGrady scoring 16 points and coming up with some key baskets at crunch time for Atlanta.

Chicago is coming off of its most impressive victory to date. The Bulls hammered the Memphis Grizzlies 101-61 on Sunday and enjoyed an off day on Monday to prepare for Atlanta. Chicago's only loss this season came on December 26 on the road against the Golden State Warriors.

This game will be another opportunity for Hawks point guard Jeff Teague to match up with last season's MVP Derrick Rose who is averaging 19.8 points and 8.6 assists per game this season. Teague scored 13 of his 15 points against the Heat in the first half but his aggressiveness early was key for the Hawks.
