Hawks Vs. Bulls Score: Atlanta Picks Up Where It Left Off, Leads 23-15 After One

One night after handing the Miami Heat their first loss, the Atlanta Hawks jumped out to a fast start against the Chicago Bulls leading 23-15 at the end of the first quarter. The Hawks picked up where they left off on Monday with some solid defense and offensive execution.

It was a balanced effort for Atlanta with Marvin Williams leading the way with six points. Joe Johnson and Josh Smith scored five points each. Johnson grabbed two rebounds in the opening quarter and came up with three steals.

Chicago came out of the gate a little sluggish. Derrick Rose finished with five points and two assists in the first and Luol Deng chipped in four for the Bulls.
