Marvin Williams Continuing To Shine On Hawks Road Trip

The Atlanta Hawks improved to 3-1 on their current five game road trip Sunday night with a 94-72 win over the New Orleans Hornets. Marvin Williams scored 14 points In Sunday's win and prompted Hawks coach Larry Drew to point out his aggressiveness this season as a key to his early season success.

"LD has been telling me to do that since I've been playing for him. "It's fun to play for a coach who allows you to do that, wants you to do that. There is no second-guessing about doing it. This year, I knew he expected that from me so I worked hard all summer and it's really showing."

Williams has made the most of his opportunities this season and has been on target from beyond-the-arc all season. In the last two games, Williams is 8-10 from three-point range and is 10-15 on the road trip. He entered Sunday's game hitting 47 percent of his attempts from downtown and has been a huge part of the Hawks who are now 15-6 on the season.
