Atlanta missed McGrady's shooting and his calming influence late as they watched Chicago come back from a 19 point deficit to defeat the Hawks 76-74. Atlanta is off on Wednesday and returns home to take on the Miami Heat on Thursday.
Thursday's game is the first of three straight for the Hawks who will travel to Charlotte on Friday and return home for a rematch with the Bulls on Saturday. McGrady has been a key piece of the Hawks attack this season and came into tonight's game averaging 11.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in his first season with the Hawks.
