Heat Vs. Hawks Score: Shorthanded Miami Leading Atlanta 22-19 After One

Perhaps the Atlanta Hawks were expecting the Miami Heat to lay down after finding out that both Dwyane Wade and LeBron James would miss tonight's game with injuries. That is clearly not the case as the Heat grabbed a 22-19 first quarter lead.

Atlanta looked a step slow and couldn't buy a shot on the offensive end finishing 6-17 in the quarter. Marvin Williams and Joe Johnson lead the team with five points each.

Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem lead the Heat with six points and Mario Chalmers has four. The Heat outworked the Hawks by going inside for 16 point in the paint while the Atlanta Hawks scored just two. Miami holds a 13-10 advantage on the boards including four offensive boards.
