Hawks Vs. Nets: Marvin Williams Will Not Be With Team For Atlanta's Two-Game Road Trip

The Atlanta Hawks will be without the services of starting forward Marvin Williams for the next two road games as his sprained left ankle will keep him in Atlanta for rest and treatment.

Per the Hawks PR department:

Hawks forward Marvin Williams, who suffered a sprained left ankle during Saturday's win over Chicago, is not with the team for tonight's game at New Jersey and Wednesday's contest at Indiana. -- Atlanta Hawks Public Relations

Williams is averaging 11 points and 6 rebounds a game through nine games this season, and Hawks head coach Larry Drew could look to bring free-agent signee Tracy McGrady into the starting lineup in place of Williams. The Hawks are 6-3 thus far on the season and are two games behind the Miami Heat in the Southeast division.
