The Atlanta Hawks have lost six of their last nine games and are looking to get back on track against a Chicago team that may or may not have Derrick Rose in the lineup. Rose participated in a full scale practice on Sunday and if he shows no ill effects, could return to action Monday afternoon against the Hawks.
"He defended pick and rolls, he went one-on-one, he defended the post, played in the post, defended catch-and-shoot," Thibodeau said. "He did a lot today. We'll see how he is tomorrow. It was the next step for us."
After a great start to the season, the Hawks are struggling and Tracy McGrady added to the distractions by publicly complaining about his playing time after Saturday's loss in Portland. Atlanta is just 5-11 against teams with a winning record and are 1-1 against the Bulls this season.
