The NBA rookie-sophomore game has a different twist than in years past. Instead of having rookies play sophomores there was a draft where the 18 players were drafted by TNT analysts Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'neil. This did provide some extra excitement to the game.
Local product Derrick Favors who played high school in Atlanta and then with Georgia Tech was added as an injury replacement and is on Team Chuck.
