Wizards Vs. Hawks Score: Atlanta Trails Washington 54-50 Despite 18 Points From Joe Johnson

The Atlanta Hawks returned home from a six-game road trip but trail the hot-shooting Washington Wizards 54-50 at halftime despite getting 18 points from Joe Johnson in the first half. The Wizards hit 54 percent of their shots in the first half including 5-7 attempts from three-point range. If the Hawks are going to snap a two game losing streak then they are going to have to pick up the defensive intensity.

Johnson hit 7-11 shots in the first half and was 4-5 from beyond-the-arc. Josh Smith added 10 points and four assists while Jeff Teague has nine points, three assists and four steals.

John Wall and Roger Mason scored 10 points each to lead the Wizards. Trevor Booker added eight points and five boards. All 10 Wizards players that appeared in the game scored in the first half.
