The Atlanta Hawks have won four of five games and travel to Washington DC Saturday night where they will take on the Wizards in the second game of their last back-to-back-to-back set. The Hawks defeated New Jersey 93-84 on Friday with a big fourth quarter and a strong game from Josh Smith who finished with 30 points and 12 rebounds. Atlanta has pulled to within percentage points of the Indiana Pacers in the standings.
Atlanta began their good stretch with a 102-88 win over the Wizards last week. The Hawks have won both regular season meetings a Philips Arena this season and go for the season sweep Saturday night. Atlanta has won 14 of 15 against the Wizards with the lone defeat coming in Washington late last season. The Wizards lost last time out blowing a 22 point first half lead to the Indiana Pacers before falling 85-83.
