Hawks Vs. Bucks Score: Atlanta Trailing In Milwaukee 55-46 At Halftime

The Atlanta Hawks ran into a spirited Milwaukee Bucks team and were a step slow defensively but rallied late to trail 55-46 at halftime. Atlanta was its own worst enemy in the first half as they turned the ball over 14 times while the Bucks had just five giveaways.

The Hawks trailed by as many as 16 points in the first half but were able to rally late and get the deficit down to a manageable nine points at halftime. Josh Smith led the comeback effort with 17 points and 11 rebounds at halftime. Marvin Williams came off the bench to score nine points and Kirk Hinrich has seven.

Joe Johnson played just 11 minutes in the first half after being hit in the mouth by an inadvertent elbow from Zaza Pachulia that required stitches.

Monta Ellis leads the Bucks with 12 points and Brandon Jennings has 11 points and three steals. Drew Gooden and Mike Dunleavy added 10 points each.
