Hawks Vs. Thunder Halftime Score: Atlanta Leads Oklahoma City 53-47

The Hawks are looking to pull off the upset against the Thunder who have the best record in the NBA.

The Atlanta Hawks are still without starting guard Joe Johnson, but that is not mattering tonight as the Atlanta Hawks are leading the Oklahoma City Thunder 53-47 at halftime. Josh Smith and Jeff Teague are leading the Hawks in scoring as both have 11 points, but tonight it is the defense that is why the Hawks are up six points at the break.

The Hawks have forced the Thunder into 13 turnovers and have six steals, and those turnovers have helped the Hawks get more scoring chances. Both teams are shooting 45 percent, but the Hawks have had nine more shots and made four more than the Thunder.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are the leading scorers for the Thunder with 13 each, but that is where the majority of their the scoring is coming from the Thunder tonight.
