Atlanta Hawks Plagued By Injuries This Week, Joe Johnson Doubtful At Indiana Pacers

Atlanta Hawks star Joe Johnson is doubtful for Tuesday against the Indiana Paces, with other injuries lingering in Atlanta as well.

The Atlanta Hawks could certainly use these two days off since beating Oklahoma City at home on Saturday, 97-90. Atlanta did this without its best player Joe Johnson and may have to start its road trip on Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers without him as well.

According to a report by Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Johnson is doubtful for Tuesday's game because of tendinitis in his knee. Willie Green is also doubtful with a back injury, and Tracy McGrady is questionable with a knee injury of his own. Hawks center Jason Collins is also suffering with an elbow injury.

Atlanta is currently the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a heavy road trip ahead of them, which includes a match-up against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday and the Miami Heat on Wednesday, two of the conference's elite teams.
