Hawks Vs. Pacers Final Score: Atlanta Holds On For 101-96 Win

The Atlanta Hawks take the season series with the Indiana Pacers after a 101-96 win Tuesday night to open a six-game road trip. The win extends Atlanta's winning streak to three games.

Atlanta built a big lead early only to see the Pacers make a run late in the first half to close the gap. The Hawks entered the break leading 58-54. Atlanta momentarily lost the lead in the third quarter before closing it out with a 7-0 run. The Hawks were able to keep the Pacers at arms length in the fourth behind the solid play of Josh Smith and Jannero Pargo.

Smith led the team once again with 27 points and nine rebounds. Jannero Pargo played most of the second half and scored 16 points off the bench. marvin Williams and Zaza Pachulia finished with 12 points each. Pachulia also grabbed a team high 10 rebounds. Jeff Teague added nine points and a team-high nine assists for the Hawks.

David West scored a season high 24 points to lead the Pacers who have lost two games in a row after winning six straight. Danny Granger added 19 points while George Hill pitched in 15 off the bench.
