Joe Johnson Injury: Hawks Guard Returns To Starting Lineup Against Detroit

Injured Hawks guard Joe Johnson will make his return to the starting lineup during tonight's game against the Pistons. Johnson has missed the last four games with tendinitis in his right knee.

After sitting out the final two games before the All-Star break, Johnson returned to the lineup against the Golden State Warriors but once again had problems with the knee. He then shut it down for four more games but has reported no pain in the knee over the last few days while working out. It remains to be seen what kind of effect this condensed lockout schedule will have on Johnson's injury.

Kirk Hinrich had started the last four games alongside Jeff Teague with the Hawks going 3-1 in those contests.
