NBA Power Rankings Update: Hawks Are Having A Good Month

The Atlanta Hawks are 5-2 in the month of April, which has not only led them to a clinched playoff berth while the team currently holds down the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Atlanta is also the 11th-ranked squad in the latest SB Nation NBA Power Rankings, with its most recent victory coming over the non-contending Toronto Raptors. Our lead NBA writer Tom Ziller wants to see what this Hawks team can put together when Al Horford gets back.

"Seriously, if they get Al Horford, easily the roster's best player, back for the playoffs? We need to be ready for the potential of the Hawks in conference finals. They took a healthy Bulls squad to six last year, and Jeff Teague and the bench are improved."

Horford played in 11 games this season before he was sidelined with a shoulder injury.
