Hawks Vs. Pistons Score Update: Atlanta Cruising With 72-42 Halftime Lead

Looking to move into the No. 4 spot in the Eastern Conference for home court in the first round, the Hawks are doing their part by leading the Detroit Pistons 72-42 at halftime.

The Hawks entered Wednesday 1/2 game behind the Boston Celtics for the fourth seed in the East. But the Hawks also were tied with the Orlando Magic. The Celtics and Magic are playing tonight, so Atlanta could be in a different position at the end of the night.

The Hawks are getting scoring from across the board. Marvin Williams and Tracy McGrady lead Atlanta with 10 points each. Josh Smith and Jannero Pargo each have nine points. Ivan Johnson has eight points. The Hawks are shooting 62.2 percent from the floor (28-for-45), including 6-for-13 from three-point range. The Pistons are shooting just 34.1 percent.
