Looking to get closer to home-court advantage, the Hawks lead the Los Angeles Clippers 52-50 at halftime at Phillips Arena.
Joe Johnson leads Atlanta with 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting. Marvin Williams has 11 points as the only other Hawks player in double-figures. The Hawks are shooting 51.2 percent from the floor, while the Clippers are at an even 50 percent. Los Angeles' Blake Griffin leads all scorers with 22 points on 10-for-12 shooting.
The Boston Celtics have already clinched the No. 4 seed in the East with their division title, but the Hawks are up a game on Boston and currently would host the likely first-round matchup between the teams. For their part, the Clippers are also looking to lock up home-court advantage in the first round in the Western Conference.
