For the second time in five seasons, the Atlanta Hawks open up the NBA playoffs against the Boston Celtics. Unlike 2008, this Hawks team will have the home court advantage as the Hawks are the fourth seed in the 2012 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs.
With that being said the Hawks open up as 60-1 odds to win the NBA title. Though the Hawks are seeded higher than the Celtics, Boston is currently at 20-1 odds to win the NBA Championship. The Miami Heat are at 11-5 odds to win the title.
Atlanta and Boston played three close games during the regular season with Boston winning the first two (including an overtime game), before the Hawks finally broke through with a 97-92 victory over the Celitics just last Friday evening (April 20th).
