2012 NBA Playoffs: Rajon Rondo Suspended

Celtics guard Rajon Rondo, who made contact with an official late in the team's game one loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night, has been suspended by the league for one game as a result of his actions.

It is a move that was widely presumed to happen, as the NBA has a zero-tolerance policy on players making physical contact with officials. Rondo's actions stunted his team's late game comeback attempt, and has left Boston vulnerable for game two.

It is likely that second year guard Avery Bradley will start in Rondo's place when the two teams continue their series on Tuesday night.
