Jeff Teague's variety of skills was on full display Friday night in Atlanta's 101-96 win over the Detroit Pistons. When it comes to Teague it usually comes down to whether or not he is aggressive and Larry Drew talked about that during his post game media session.
"Once he got aggressive off the dribble, it started opening up everything. We got our transition game going, he got to the basket. I thought he made some nice plays off the dribble. When he's in tha attack mode like that and he's aggressive, we're a different ball club."
Teague seems to be finding his way at the most opportune time for the Hawks who are fighting trying to catch the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference standings. The Pistons had no answer for Teague on Friday night as the third-year pro finished with 24 points, five rebounds, 11 assists and two steals. More important than the numbers was that Teague was aggressive going to the basket early and used his speed and quickness to his advantage in the open court. In that situation the Hawks are clearly a better team and it is on Teague to bring that to the table on a consistent basis.
