With the Atlanta Hawks perilously thin in their front-court, Josh Smith may end up playing in Friday's Game 3 despite leaving Game 2 with a sprained knee:
On board the #Hawks #Delta charter off for Boston and Gm3. Josh Smith, if not hurting after shootaround Friday, plans on playing. #FSHawks

Smith, even if not at 100%, would be a huge boost for a thin Hawks team upfront who would have to cobble together a rotation of Ivan Johnson, Marvin Williams and Vladimir Radmanovic at the power forward position in Smith's absence.
Smith, in his eighth year in the NBA after declaring out of high school in 2004, is having the best season of his career, averaging 18.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.7 blocks on 46% shooting.
