There are a wide range of prospects that could be in play for the Atlanta Hawks with the 23rd pick in the first round of the 2012 NBA Draft. USA Today's latest mock draft has Atlanta adding size in the frontcourt with the addition of Syracuse center Fab Melo.

A true 7-foot center with prototypical length. Still developing offensively. Solid shot blocker and rebounder.

Melo's offensive game is still a work in progress but if you look at the current makeup of the team that isn't necessarily a need. Atlanta could use some size and athleticism up front and at 7-foot, 250 pounds Melo has the size to play the center position in the NBA. Melo will be in Atlanta for a workout on June 23rd along with Vanderbilt center Festus Ezeli.

Here is a look at DraftExpress draft profile for Fab Melo and some video footage of a predraft workout in Los Angeles.
