When Ferry talked with the media on draft night he promised that he would not leave a stone unturned when it came to the construction of next season's roster. Ferry added that the best chance for Atlanta to gain some flexibility was via trade. The Hawks are reportedly in discussions with the Nets for a trade involving Joe Johnson. Atlanta has also received calls on Josh Smith who is in the final year of his deal.
