NBA Free Agency 2012: Kirk Hinrich Has Offer From Milwaukee Bucks

It looks like Hawks free agent guard Kirk Hinrich really wants to return to Chicago but is also drawing interest from other teams. Hinrich reportedly has an offer from the Milwaukee Bucks that would pay him approximately $4 million a season. Another parallel with the Bucks is that they are coached by former Bulls coach Scott Skiles who was coach in Chicago while Hinrich was there.

The Bulls have reportedly offered Hinrich somewhere between the veteran's minimum and some $2 million a season. Hinrich had one of his worst seasons statistically in 2012 but began the year injured and played much better down the stretch and displaced Marvin Williams in the Atlanta starting lineup.

Hinrich's good size and ability to defend both backcourt positions make him an appealing option for many teams.
