Hawks Free Agency: Bulls Showing Interest In Tracy McGrady

Atlanta Hawks unrestricted free agent Tracy McGrady could possibly end up signing a deal with the Chicago Bulls, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune. The Bulls just signed former Golden State Warriors Nate Robinson, and McGrady has been told that if the Bulls do add one more player it will indeed be him.

The seven-time All-Star struggled this past season with the Hawks and spent a good portion of the season with McGrady's typical back injury which caused him 14 games. He is now a shell of his former self and only 12 times this past year he scored more than 10 points and had a season high of 17 points in a late season game against the Detroit Pistons.

For the season he averaged only 5.3 points per game, three rebounds, 2.1 assists while playing 15 minutes per game. If McGrady does sign with the Bulls he will be a role player.
