Thrashers' Anthony Stewart Scores A Powerplay Hat Trick Against The Ducks

His first career hat trick came this evening as well as did the Thrashers’ first hat trick of the season, as Anthony Stewart nets his third goal of the night with his second power play goal of the night.

The Thrashers’ powerplay has redeemed itself, going three for four on the night thus far, with two of those goals scored by Stewart. The other goal was Chris Thorburn’s third of the year – Thorburn needs one more goal to tie last year’s complete goal total of four.

Thorburn also has seven penalty minutes thus far tonight, including five for fighting George Parros, who apparently perfected his finger flicking technique for tonight’s game.
