Out of fourth place and two points behind the Lightning. Baby steps, people. Baby steps. A win tonight against the Colorado Avalanche'd help, but can the Thrashers manage a six game winning streak? It's been done before - in March of 2009, during the team's last minute rush of improved hockey. This team's a much better and even squad than that team was, and is getting outstanding goaltending from Ondrej Pavelec, so who knows - anything's possible.

A Toronto defeat of Tampa Bay tonight would be helpful, and would bring the Thrashers even with Tampa Bay for a tie for second place.
