Patrice Cormier could very well have suffered an injury after a helmet-to-helmet hit with Ed Jovonowski from the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday evening. Mason hasn’t started a game since January 15th, a game which he left early after straining his ACL. He hasn’t seen action since.
Also per Kamal, the team is rolling with seven defensemen; Nigel Dawes is the healthy scratch.
