Atlanta Thrashers Players Not Warned Of Winnipeg Move, According To Another Report

While Greg Brady of Toronto's AM 590 seems like the world's most thoughtful AM radio host, let's settle down for the rest of the afternoon after the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore, the paper's Atlanta Thrashers beat writer, joined the Columbus Blue Jackets' beat writer in denying a report that Thrashers players have been told to prepare for the team to move soon.

Vivlamore says he spoke with multiple players about the report, with none of them saying they've heard anything definitive about a potential relocation.

This all doesn't mean that a Winnipeg move is any less likely, of course, but rather that we can all take a deep breath for a moment. According to the report that set all this off, from Brady, a decision on the team's 2011 locale will be announced within the next few weeks. That much certainly squares with everything else we know. Keep it together, Thrashers fans.
