Hey Thrashers Fans, Let's Road Trip To Anaheim Royals Games

It looks very, very bad for Atlanta Thrashers fans right now. Despite what Gary Bettman says, it's widely presumed that the deal to ship the team to Winnipeg is being laced up as we speak.

Now take this for what it's worth, but the NBA's Sacramento Kings were all but officially shipped to Anaheim just last month. And they'll remain in Sactown for another season.

Entirely different scenario, as Anaheim's paperwork wasn't in order, while True North has had years to square up. And the Kings had a legit potential buyer emerge at the last minute -- even though he hasn't bought the team, he startled David Stern into reconsidering -- but I'm just saying. We're down by four touchdowns, but the final out hasn't been recorded yet <-- advanced hockey jargon, sorry.

Here are some other noteworthy relocation done deals that didn't happen.
