Winfield is a 4th-generation Georgia Tech alumnus. An avid sports fan, he follows most Atlanta sports teams and has great pride for his city's successes. In 2009, Winfield drove the one and only Ramblin' Reck from Georgia Tech and graduated from the Institute in May of 2010. When not attempting to blog he works for a management consulting firm in Atlanta.
