The information for the National League wild card playoff game between the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals has finally been announced. The Braves will be hosting the Cardinals on Friday, Oct. 5 with a game time start of 5:07 p.m. ET on TBS.

The announcers for the TBS broadcast will be play-by-play man Brian Anderson, with color analysts Ron Darling and Joe Simpson.

The game can be heard on the Braves Radio Network, and can be heard in Atlanta on AM680 or FM100.5.

This is the new playoff game that was implemented since an extra wild card spot was created, and it is just a one-game affair with the winner moving on to the NLDS. The Braves will be starting Kris Medlen on Friday, and the Braves hope that his 23-game winning streak when he starts stays intact.

Teams have until 3 p.m. on Thursday to set their 25-man roster for this wild card game.
