The Atlanta Falcons are off to a 4-0 start to 2012, and quarterback Matt Ryan is a big reason why the team has been successful in the early stages of the season. As Sports Illustrated's Peter King pointed out Monday morning, Ryan is on track for a career year:
While lengthening his average throw, Ryan's become more accurate too. His 69.4-percent completion rate is 8.1 points better than last year, his quarterback rating (112.1) almost 20 points higher.

Ryan has thrown 11 touchdown passes and just two interceptions this season, and he has completed 69.4 percent of his throws. He is on pace to set career-highs in efficiency, passing yardage, passing touchdowns and touchdown-to-interception ratio. At this rate, 2012 will be the first season in which Ryan throws for 30 touchdowns or more.
Atlanta puts its perfect record on the line in Week 5 against the Washington Redskins.
