Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith is just one win away from tying Dan Reeves for the most wins as head coach in franchise history (49). With the 5-0 Falcons being heavily favored over the Oakland Raiders at home on Sunday, there's reason to anticipate Smith achieving this.

But the interesting thing about the Falcons' head coach is that he's not big on attention. He'll deflect the attention away from himself in a heartbeat and credit the cast around him. The Falcons are planning on giving him the game ball if they win. It would only be appropriate considering the team's unprecedented success this early in the season, and Smith's hand in it.

Falcons' center Todd McClure doesn't think all the recognition will go over too well with his head coach.

"Knowing Smitty, he probably wouldn't be too happy if we did that," McClure told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "He's going to try to downplay it as much as possible. But I think it shows what this organization has done over the last four or five years. From all the way at the top, they are trying to get a winning culture around here. They brought in the right guy for that."
