The Falcons are 6-0 this season, and Tony Gonzalez might have the best chance of his career for a Super Bowl title.

Despite the team's fast start, Gonzalez told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that there is still a lot of work to do this season.

"It’s a special feeling. I’ve been there before. It doesn’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things as far as our goals are concerned. But it’s a great start and we’ve got to build off of it. We’ve got to play better than we have."

In Sunday's 23-20 win over the Oakland Raiders, Gonzalez tallied four catches for 42 yards.

He's been one of the focal points of the Atlanta offense in 2012. Through six games, the veteran tight end has 43 catches for 430 yards and four touchdowns.

Since being drafted in 1997, Gonzalez has yet to reach a Super Bowl. The 36-year old is one touchdown shy of 100 for his career.
