Falcons vs. Eagles 2012: Game preview, kickoff time, TV schedule and more

New, 1 comment

Atlanta goes for its seventh win of the 2012 season.

Scott Cunningham

The Atlanta Falcons are on the road to face the Philadelphia Eagles, and they're trying to keep their undefeated season intact. The Falcons are the only team in the NFL without a loss this year, and the Eagles come into the game at 3-3 overall.

Atlanta, which was off in Week 7, is coming off a 23-20 win over the Raiders in Week 6. The Eagles have lost two games in a row, and they were off in Week 7 as well.

Led by quarterback Matt Ryan, the Falcons rank eighth in the league in passing yards per game and 13th in total offense. The Eagles are No. 7 in total offense but are No. 30 in scoring; their minus-9 turnover margin is one of the league's worst.

On the other side of the ball, Atlanta ranks No. 22 in total defense, while Philadelphia is No. 11.

Game Time: 1 p.m. ET

TV: FOX

Odds: Philadelphia is favored by one to three points, depending on the sportsbook.
