The Atlanta Falcons are off to a 4-0 start, and they'll look to keep that momentum going against the Washington Redskins in Week 5. A late comeback and a last-second field goal gave the Falcons the win over the Carolina Panthers, and they'll see a similar run-heavy offense from Robert Griffin III and the Redskins.
Atlanta gave up 199 yards on the ground to Carolina; discipline and execution will be key if they want to improve against RG3 and Alfred Morris.
Matt Ryan was 25-for-40 for 369 yards with three touchdowns and one interception against Carolina, despite being sacked seven times. Michael Turner added 103 yards on the ground. They should both have big opportunities against the Redskins. Washington's defense is ranked near the bottom of the league, giving up an average of 415.3 yards and 30.8 points per game. They're particularly weak against the pass, and without cornerback Cedric Griffin and safety Brandon Meriweather, both out with injuries, there should be plenty of opportunity for Ryan to connect with Roddy White, Tony Gonzales and the rest of the receiving corps.
