Falcons injury report: Atlanta lucky to avoid injuries against Saints

The Atlanta Falcons avoided major injuries against the New Orleans Saints, but who is still in doubt for next week's game against the Arizona Cardinals?

Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE

While the Atlanta Falcons saw their chances at an undefeated season come to an end against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, they came away with no injuries that could cause someone to miss time. Going into Week 12, they have at least one key player that they could use on the field in linebacker Sean Weatherspoon. He has been out since Week 8 with an ankle injury and wasn't able to play against the Saints.

As of right now, Weatherspoon is listed as questionable for next week's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Two other players on the injury list include wide receiver Kevin Cone and safety Charles Mitchell, both of whom missed the Saints game. Cone is recovering from a groin injury that has kept him out the last two weeks. Mitchell is recovering from a calf injury that limited him at practice last week before being declared inactive for Sunday's game.

The Falcons prepare for the Cardinals at the Georgia Dome on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. ET kick off and the game will be broadcast on Fox.
