Atlanta Falcons running back Jacquizz Rodgers was not the feature back for much of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, but he was a key figure in the Falcons' attempt to come back in the fourth quarter. Rodgers finished with 62 all-purpose yards, 29 rushing and 33 receiving.
Rodgers broke an 18-yard run in the fourth quarter, making it the third game in a row he has had a play of 15 yards or more. Against the Philadelphia Eagles two weeks ago he had a 43-yard run and against the Dallas Cowboys last week he had a 53-yard run. So far this season Rodgers has rushed for 166 yards and has gained 223 receiving yards and has scored one touchdown off a catch.
The Falcons are now preparing for next Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals at the Georgia Dome. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff and the game will be broadcast on Fox.
