Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon were among four players who missed their second straight day of practice Thursday, as the team prepares for the Arizona Cardinals Sunday.

Jones injured his ankle last Sunday against the New Orleans Saints and was only able to play part of the game for the Falcons last week. Weatherspoon has also been battling an ankle injury that he suffered against the Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 28 and has missed the last two games against the Dallas Cowboys and the Saints.

In addition to Jones and Weatherspoon, wide receiver Kevin Cone (groin) and safety Charles Mitchell (calf) both missed practice on Thursday.

The Falcons also had four players limited, with linebacker Stephen Nicholas (groin), defensive end John Abraham (back), running back Michael Turner (back) and defensive tackle Vance Walker (ribs) missing parts of practice on Thursday.

Atlanta had four players on the injury chart participate fully, led by defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (thigh). Tight end Tony Gonzalez (shoulder), linebacker Mike Peterson (foot) and wide receiver Harry Douglas (ankle) were also able to participate in practice on Thursday without an issue.
