The Atlanta Falcons eked out a 23-19 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, and in the process, saw two key players -- wide receiver Julio Jones and cornerback Asante Samuel -- leave the game with injuries.
Jones, who came into the game battling a right ankle injury, left after aggravating that injury in the third quarter and did not return. He is questionable for Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Before leaving the game, Jones caught three passes for 33 yards.
Samuel left the game in the first quarter with a right shoulder injury. The cornerback injured the shoulder trying to put a hit on Cardinals' receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Samuel did not return and is questionable for Week 12 against the Bucs.
Several other Falcons missed Sunday's win and remain up in the air for next weekend's game against the Bucs, including linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, safety Charles Mitchell and wide receiver Kevin Cone.
