Two cornerbacks for the Atlanta Falcons suffered injuries during Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and did not return to the game.
Dunta Robinson left the game with a head injury after a helmet-to-helmet hit on Buccaneers running back Doug Martin. He is currently considered questionable for Thursday night's game against the New Orleans Saints.
The Falcons also saw cornerback Asante Samuel leave the game with a shoulder injury. He is also questionable for the early game this week.
Robinson, who is in his third season with the Falcons, recorded a team-high six tackles before he left the game Sunday. He also had a sack on Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman.
This season, Robinson has 45 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks. He's picked off one pass, has six pass deflections and has a forced fumble.
Robinson was the 10th overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. As a rookie, Robinson picked off six passes and recorded three sacks. He started all 16 games for Houston.
Samuel, 31, is in his first season with Atlanta. In 11 games, he's recorded 27 tackles, two interceptions and a touchdown. He had two pass deflections before he left Sunday's game.
