Atlanta avoided serious injuries in their victory over the Cowboys.

After struggling with knee problems early in his career, Peria Jerry gave his team a scare on Sunday night when he went to the sideline. The issue was his knee again, but while Jerry did not return to the game, he suffered no ligament damage, according to the Atlanta Falcons.

Jerry is expected to be available when the Falcons play the Saints on Sunday.

The Falcons' secondary also experienced some minor injuries on Sunday night. Asante Samuel left with a neck injury and Charles Mitchell suffered a calf injury, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

In other injury news, the Falcons could have linebacker Sean Weatherspoon back for Week 10. The 24-year-old is nursing an ankle injury and missed the game against the Cowboys. The team believes it will have a "good idea" if Weatherspoon will play in Week 10 on Wednesday or Thursday. The Falcons will try to preserve their perfect record against the Saints next week.
