NFL Power Rankings: Falcons sit atop power rankings

After a perfect 8-0 start to the season, the Atlanta Falcons find themselves as the only remaining unbeaten team in the league, and consequently, find themselves atop all the major power rankings around the world wide web.

SB Nation's Joel Thorman not only ranks the Falcons as the league's No. 1 team, but he also predicts that the Falcons are looking at a 13 win season -- minimum.

ESPN's panel of NFL experts ranked the Falcons No. 1 in their power rankings -- and they look ahead to Atlanta's Week 10 game against the New Orleans Saints, in what looks like a do-or-die game for Atlanta's NFC South rival.

Like ESPN and SB Nation, Yahoo! Sports ranks the Falcons as the No. 1 team in the NFL -- for now. The folks at Yahoo! look forward to a potential NFC Championship Game showdown between the Falcons and Chicago Bears -- and wonder if the Falcons are "better on the field."
