Atlanta Falcons defensive back Chris Hope suffered a head injury during his team's win over the New York Giants on Sunday but was later able to return to the game. Hope was the only injury the Falcons endured in the 34-0 victory.
Hope has appeared in all 14 games for Atlanta this season, making a pair of starts; he has 17 tackles. The veteran is in his 11th season, and Atlanta is his third team. He began his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and also spent time with the Tennessee Titans. He was a regular starter for both.
The Falcons have already clinched the NFC South, and with their win over the Giants, they got one step closer to clinching the No. 1 playoff seed in the conference. The Green Bay Packers (10-4) clinched a division crown Sunday, while the San Francisco 49ers (10-3-1) have assured themselves a playoff spot.
Atlanta returns to the field in Week 16 to take on the Detroit Lions.
