Gonzalez was the only Falcons player to earn the most votes for a position in the NFC. The fan vote is one third of the final roster and the other two thirds are equally divided up between coaches and players.

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is a near consensus of NFL.com talent to earn a spot for the NFC squad along with Robert Griffin III and Aaron Rodgers. The other Falcons who could make the Pro Bowl are wide receiver Roddy White, linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, safeties William Moore and Thomas DeCoud and kicker Matt Bryant.
