The Atlanta Falcons host the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round of the 2013 NFL Playoffs on Sunday afternoon, and experts are torn on who will survive to advance to the NFC Championship. The Falcons have been good all season, on their way to a 7-1 record at home and a 13-3 mark overall, but riding a six-game winning streak the Seahawks may be playing better than any team in the NFL right now.
In his 2013 NFL Playoffs picks Joel Thorman of SB Nation thinks that the Seahawks will deal Matt Ryan his fourth-straight playoff loss as quarterback of the Falcons. Thorman believes the Seattle offense is playing too well and has the size at cornerback to contend with Atlanta's stud receiving corps.
The majority of ESPN's panel don't agree with Thorman. Eight of ESPN's 12 prognosticators say the Falcons will finally break through with a playoff win. Yahoo! Sports also swings the way of Atlanta, with two out of three favoring the home team.
CBS Sports believes the Seahawks will keep rolling through to the conference title game, as six of eight panelists there are going with Seattle straight up. Those that think Atlanta will win also say it covers the 2 1/2-point spread.
